COVID-19 Update

Greetings CCCSA member,

Here is an update regarding the ever-evolving COVID situation and effect on CCCSA activities.

General Meetings

The easing of restrictions from this Friday (19th June) means that WAFC can now accommodate enough (68) of us to have a physical meeting. HOWEVER the venue is still operating on restricted days and is closed on Tuesdays, so, for the time being, we are still unable to get together for our monthly meetings.

As per last month, the July meeting will be conducted online via Zoom. We had some good positive feedback about the June meeting. Details of how to attend the VIRTUAL July (7th July) meeting will be emailed to you the week before the meeting and will be placed on the Club website 2 hours prior to the commencement of the event.

It is our hope that meeting in person can recommence from August but we’ll update everyone when we know more.

Membership Renewals and Log Books

We will NOT be conducting a Membership Day this year due to the need to social distance and the logistics of safely handling paper, cash and log books. Membership is still due by 30th June so renewals will be done online and payments with EFT only.

Details have been sent to members via email, SMS, Facebook, and this web page. Please see https://cccsa.net.au/2020membership/ for information regarding renewals.

AGM

Our Annual General Meeting is normally conducted at the August meeting.

As we cannot guarantee an August meeting at this stage, the Committee have agreed to postpone the AGM. Our current plan is to move the AGM to September. Formal notice of the new date of the AGM will be sent once details are confirmed.

If it turns out an August meeting can be held, it will be conducted without the AGM.

It’s great that things are returning to some sort of normal and that there is light at the end of the tunnel.

In the meantime, stay safe and healthy.

The CCCSA Committee
