Dear CCCSA Member,
Membership renewals
CCCSA memberships are due for renewal by June 30th each year.
Membership renewals are done online. This is much less labour-intensive for our team of volunteers when done this way.
So, unless you paid for a multi-year membership last year, your membership expires on June 30th this year and you will need to renew via the online form that is now available on our website, and pay via electronic funds transfer (EFT). We won’t be accepting physical forms and cash/cheques this year.
To renew:
- Go to : https://cccsa.net.au/membership/membership_form.html
- Select the second option to (EXISTING CCCSA member) to renew your membership and click OK.
- Fill in the online form, including any classic vehicles you own (they don’t necessarily have to be on the Club Registration scheme)
- IMPORTANT: If your vehicle is on the Club Registration Scheme, please fill in the log book expiry date field against the vehicle. The expiry date is on the TOP of the FRONT COVER of your log book, where it says “Replace Log Book”.
- Select the number of years for membership (you might want to align with your log book expiry period, if you have a vehicle on the scheme) for 1, 2 or 3 years
- Select whether you wish to pay by EFT or Credit/Debit card
- Submit the form.
- EFT Payment: Note the amount, instructions and reference details for the payment. (The information will also be emailed to you if you have supplied an email address.)
Then, log on to your online banking and pay the amount required via EFT. Alternatively, visit your bank branch and they can help you to transfer funds to our account. - Credit/Debit Card: You will be redirected to the secure, SQUARE payment page to pay with your card. CCCSA does not see nor record your card details
Once we have verified the form details AND received your payment, your membership will be renewed for the selected period and a new membership card will be posted to you.
Log Books
Please check the expiry date on the TOP of the FRONT COVER of your log book, where it says “Replace Log Book”.
If your log book is NOT due for replacement this year (i.e. it expires in 2025 or later) you DO NOT NEED TO SEND US YOUR BOOK. Click HERE for instructions on endorsement for your membership.
If your log book EXPIRES THIS YEAR (2024), you will need to send us your book for replacement. Please do the following:
- Find a suitably sized envelope that will hold your log book (DL size is good).
- Put YOUR address on the front of that envelope and affix a postage stamp to it (postage is currently $1.30 (i.e. a stamped, self-addressed envelope). This will be used to promptly return your new log book.
- Put your expiring log book and the above return envelope into another envelope, affix another stamp and address that envelope to:
Chrysler Car Club of SA
P.O. BOX 240
GREENACRES S.A. 5086 - Post the envelope. If you want to ensure that we received your log books it is a good idea to use EXPRESS POST. That way we get it quicker AND it is tracked. (Note that using Registered Mail means we have to attend the post office during business hours which is not always possible. Express Post is delivered to the box so we can get it any time).
All being well, and depending on postage times, you will receive your new log book within 2-4 weeks of posting it to the Club.
Log Books that DO NOT REQUIRE REPLACEMENT in 2024:
If your log book is NOT due for replacement this year (i.e. it expires in 2025, 2026 or 2027) you DO NOT NEED TO SEND US YOUR BOOK . However, logbooks do require endorsement by the Club each membership year. Check the inside of your logbook and see it the endorsement expires in June 2024. If you paid for multiple years, then your book will likely have been stamped for multiple years and you don’t need to do anything until then.
If you need your logbook endorsed, you have 2 options:
- Print out a copy of your membership card and affix it to the membership endorsement page (staple or glue it into your book) in the next blank space. This is sufficient to prove you are a financial member of the club. E.g:
- Come to a club meeting and have it stamped. Note that your membership must be paid on-line before you attend. You won’t be able to do this at the meeting.
If you have multiple vehicles, you can print multiple copies of your membership card to affix in each book.
We have changed to using this process as a) it saves on postage and b) saves you waiting to receive a sticker before you can drive your car.
If you have any questions regarding your renewal, or strike any problems with the form, please contact the club via the Contact Us form and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.
Kind regards,
The Chrysler Car Club of SA
